Why Cohort 3 changes the job for every VIP partner

Will Forney on how Claims Command and VIP Cohort 3 bring carriers, service providers, IA firms and independent adjusters into one verified workflow.

I grew up around claims. It was dinner-table conversation in my family long before it was my job, so I learned early that the work rarely breaks down in the field. It breaks down in the handoffs: the invoice that sits in someone's inbox, the rate nobody can check, the payment that shows up weeks after the work is done.

That is the problem VIP Cohort 3 is built to fix, and Claims Command is where it starts.

The problem every partner already knows

Ask a carrier, a service provider, an IA firm or an independent adjuster what slows them down and you hear the same story from four directions. Work lives in too many systems. Invoices get reviewed by email and spreadsheet. Rates are argued instead of checked. And everyone waits — for an approval, for an answer, for a payment.

None of that is anyone's fault. It is what happens when every party in a claim runs on its own tools and nobody shares the same picture.

What Claims Command changes

Claims Command gives the carrier one place to see, review and approve the work their partners submit. Invoices come in against the right claim, get checked against the carrier's own guidelines, and move through review with a clear record of who decided what and why.

When an invoice is approved, Claims Command produces a clean file for the carrier's accounts payable team. It does not move money. The carrier stays in control of payment, and every partner can see where their invoice stands instead of guessing.

For partners, that is the real change: fewer chase emails, fewer surprises, and a review process they can actually follow.

What VIP Cohort 3 is

VIP Cohort 3 is the group of partners we are bringing onto the platform together, working with us directly as each piece goes live. Each group gets something specific:

  • Carriers — Claims Command for review and approval, with rateIQ™ showing where a rate sits against the market.
  • Service providers — Connect, to submit work, track status and see how their rates compare.
  • IA firms — Connect and rateIQ™, to quote and staff with a clearer view of the market instead of a guess.
  • Independent adjusters — mobile access and a faster path to getting paid, with Prompt Pay and Wallet (rolling out to the cohort as they are ready).

Some of these capabilities are live today and some are still being built with the cohort. We label which is which, and we would rather show partners the real thing than promise them a slide.

Next: legal e-billing

The next step is legal spend. We are building legal e-billing inside Claims Command so carriers can bring their law firms into the same review workflow — assigning matters, setting attorney rate cards and reviewing legal invoices alongside everything else. It is in progress now, and Cohort 3 partners will see it first.

Why this matters for our partners

Verified in. Intelligence out. When the work coming in is verified, everything downstream gets easier: decisions are faster, conversations about rates are grounded in data, and partners spend their time on claims instead of paperwork.

If you price, assign, perform or pay for claims work, I would like you in the room for this one. Apply for VIP Cohort 3, or book a walkthrough and I will show you exactly where we are.
