VIP Claims Command · Carrier billing guidelines

Your billing guidelines, enforced the way you wrote them.

Every carrier's legal billing guidelines are different. VIP Claims Command reads yours — the rates, the caps, the cycle, the words you use for what you won't pay — and turns them into rules that run on every invoice before a human ever opens it.

One rulebook per carrier

A versioned profile for each carrier.

Most bill review runs one set of rules for everyone and asks you to live with the gaps. Claims Command keeps a versioned guideline profile for each carrier: billing cycle and submission windows, time increments and rounding, daily hour caps, invoice minimums, appeal windows, expense thresholds, team limits, required codes. Change a value, and every invoice from that day forward is scored against it. Frozen reviews keep the version they were scored under.

Your words, not ours

Your lists, no code, no ticket.

Your guidelines say what a vague entry looks like, which tasks are clerical, which expenses are overhead. We ship sensible defaults and you replace them with your own lists. The engine flags what your list says, in the amount your guidelines prescribe: the whole line, a re-rate to the paralegal card, or a cap at the allowed units.

Built for every vendor on your panel

One rulebook, every kind of vendor.

Rates your way

By attorney, by role, or by task type — hearings at one rate, research at another.

Flat fees and hourly

Flat-fee items alongside hourly lines.

Non-attorney vendors

Lien services, record retrieval, contract staff — no bar number required, same rules applied.

Pre-approvals on the line

Recorded once and cited on the line, so the auditor never hunts for the email.

What the auditors miss

Rules that need the whole book.

Some rules only work when you can see a timekeeper's whole book, not one invoice: eight hours across three files on one day, a hearing billed in full to four matters before the same judge, the same document reviewed twice a month apart. Claims Command runs those across every invoice you hold and shows you, in dollars, what was flagged, what the auditor cut, and where they disagree.

Humans decide

Confirm, don't re-judge.

Nothing here pays, approves or rejects an invoice. Every finding is a next action for a person, with the suggested outcome your guidelines already call for. Reviewers confirm rather than re-judge — one click, not one argument. Everything is audited; nothing is rewritten.
